Specialty His research interests include mobile robotics, search and rescue robotics, path planning, robotic teams, bipedal locomotion, human-robot interaction, medical robotics, image processing, industrial automation. He authors over 100 publications in English, Russian and Japanese languages.

Professor, founder and a Head of Intelligent Robotic Systems Laboratory at Innopolis University, Russia (2014-2016). He worked at University of Bristol and Bristol Robotics Laboratory, UK (2013-2014), Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon University, USA (2012), University of Tsukuba, Japan (2011-2012) and National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), Japan (2011).
He earned his Ph.D. degree (2011) from University of Tsukuba, Japan, and Master (2006) and Bachelor (2002) degrees from Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, Israel. In 2004-2005 he worked as a Lecturer in Charge at ORT Hermelin College of Engineering, Israel, and in 2001-2006 as a Teaching Assistant in Charge at Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.

Evgeni is currently an acting Head of Intelligent Robotics Department, a Professor, a founder, and a Head of Laboratory of Intelligent Robotic Systems (LIRS) at Kazan Federal University, which is one of the top 10 Russian universities and the third oldest university in Russia. Head of Russian Chapter of eSES (eSystems Engineering Society). Senior member of IEEE and IEEE RAS, member of ACM and INSTICC.

We are open for collaboration in any new field that is related to robotics. Special interest is in integrating robotics into Health Research
