My previous academic interests are observing the features of the life of the Pycnoscelus nigra, keeping the Shadow Roach Pycnoscelus nigra in an insectarium; observing the formation of its organic fertilizer biohumus and studying the impact of the biohumus on plant growth and development.

Current work focuses on the use of the Pycnoscelus nigra for processing organic waste and obtaining safe fertilizers and protein raw materials from them; and studying symbiotic microbiota of the Pycnoscelus nigra.

(Future)
The future research will include studying the Shadow Pycnoscelus nigra biochemical mechanisms of resistance to pathogens and observing the correlation between symbiotic microbiota of the Pycnoscelus nigra and its resistance to pathogens.
